Holy Monastery of All Saints (Palatitsia – Vergina)

About Holy Monastery of All Saints (Palatitsia – Vergina) in Veria

In the Vergina / Palatitsia area of Imathia the Holy Monastery of All Saints offers a living monastic presence close to one of Greece’s most famous archaeological landscapes. It is a women’s monastery of the Holy Metropolis of Veria, Naoussa and Kampania.

The house was among those restaffed in recent decades as the Metropolis revived monastic life across Imathia. Its dedication to All Saints makes the Sunday of All Saints (after Pentecost) and related commemorations natural feast days for pilgrims. The setting is rural and calm—suited to prayer after or before a visit to the royal tombs of Aigai.

Visitors are generally received by arrangement. Modest dress and respectful behaviour are required. Confirm directions and hours locally; the monastery is distinct from parish churches in Palatitsia village itself.
