A weekend in Imathia
Two days from Veria: churches and Barbouta one day, Vergina the next, with Naoussa if you have a car.
Sleep in Veria. Saturday in the old town: the Step of Apostle Paul, the Old Metropolis, Kyriotissa or Barbouta, and one museum. Sunday morning at Vergina, if Sunday is not a Monday closure. The tomb museum is closed on Mondays, so a weekend that starts on Monday should swap the days.
With a car, Sunday afternoon can be Naoussa. Without a car, stay in town. Do not schedule a hotel as a sight, and do not eat at the same taverna both days.
